Query about trailing stoploss

Let’s say BO order
Entry price -1000
Stop loss -10
Target -20
Trailing stop loss -5

What will be stoploss update when the price moves to
1001
1002
1003
1004
1005
1006

since you placed a trailing stop of 5 you stoploss will only move when the price move 5 points in your favour. means when the LTP reaches 1005 your stoploss would move forward 5 points to 995.

I never trail stop loss.I am confident in my trade and let it run to hit the target that I have set.Trailing a stop loss means that I am still not sure in my strategy and it’s a weakness in trading.
