1. The settlement price of Zinc comes in at around 3.10 pm London time (7.40 pm India time) why does trading stop at 5.25 pm or 6.25 pm? Why is trading in Zinc contracts stopped much earlier?

The settlement price of Zinc comes in at around 3.10 pm London time (7.40 pm India time) why does trading stop at 5.25 pm or 6.25 pm? Why is trading in Zinc contracts stopped much earlier?

The settlement price for Zinc on MCX is basically taken from session 1 ( Time – 12.50 – 12.55 ) and not from the Session 2 ( 3.10 PM ) London Time.
