I thought it was Indian regulators/justice system that lost credibility by not really pursuing it. wtf is ‘journey without destination’.
And bjp propaganda machine went into overdrive blabbering on how it was an attack on India itself.
India is probably a very fertile ground for such things, but how will they short ?

Exactly its the Job of Indian Courts and the Indian Investor :slightly_smiling_face:

Hindenburg is a short seller , they are not an investor, and not supposed to dictate what India has to do or not to do , now they are making allegations on regulators itself , its a clear indication of biased, vested interest :slightly_smiling_face:

If so , and if you are an USA stock market investor will they allow you to do the same thing what Hindenburg is doing , in USA , being a non USA citizen , you will be subject to different kind of regulations

From where you are coming with this logic ? Have you even read part of the report Hindenburg published before supporting the SEBI and co ?

Why do you need any indication? They themselves state everywhere that they are interested in shorting the subject in every article

I have read most of it, the report isnt that damning imo, only raises suspicions.

You are right. Vested interest of Hindenberg is clear.

No man I will drink and try to forget about this week losses😂

This is what i am saying , they have vested interest

After becoming SEBI chief Madhabi transferred all her investing to her husband , what is there to blame her , Even the Hindenburg saying Madhabi invested by using by her income only. After all earlier she worked for ICICI Bank

You may not incur loss in the coming week , you may get green ticks on Indices on Monday Morning

I don’t know who is right and who is wrong, and i also don’t know if we will ever get to the bottom of this.

It is always gonna be a game of Cat and Mouse with these reports, allegations and counters.

Either party will always keep denying the allegations and will keep defending their stand.

Irrespective of the end result, The actual accused will only lose paper wealth, it is the retail investors who end up being the real victims if the market reacts.

Blindly denying any report against any Indian or Indian company is wrong, provided such allegations are backed by facts rather than half- truths that are misleading.

It would be really hard for someone in India to do similar research and report on such wrongdoers… More often than not such whistleblowers will be silenced.

On the other hand, blindly trusting something just because it is coming from a foreign source is equally wrong, especially when such foreign source benefits from the reaction or impact such news has on our markets…

When you are a short seller, who benefits from fall in the share prices of a target company, you would go to any length to exaggerate stuff to increase the odds in your favour.

It is the short term volatility they are interested in, rather than actually exposing the wrongdoings. (The report is only a means to an end)

“All smoke and no fire”

Unless it is proven with undeniable evidence, everything is mere speculation.

My point is that, if something is undeniably true (Fact), it would stay that way no matter what or who does the investigation and will always yield the same conclusion.

If there are political influences/support behind such corrupt businesses or businessmen, then we will never know the actual truth.

We don’t have a choice but to trust in our judicial and regulatory system. We ultimately have to believe in they will deliver the right judgement.

if such regulatory and judicial systems are corrupt, then we are doomed.

Dear Bro , i am not in to fighting with you , after i saw your long reply , now i am feeling i am on a long weekend , Bye :slightly_smiling_face:

Indices turns to Green from Red , Market is the best leveler for short sellers & Investors

Looks like SEBI was innocent in all this. The poor SEBI chairman did not even get to enjoy her weekend.
