There was some update s in Trading view charts recently –
Trading View Single Chart View and Multiple chart view icon <> at bottom corner of chart layout chart is removed and replaced with settings icon in charts layout . Toggling between between multiple charts and single chart is more useful in trading . Toggling for one stock chart gives better view when in multiple charts and when to observe other stock we can toggle back to multiple charts of that layout. It saves time and resources.
Request you to kindly BRING BACK this TOGGLING FEATURE between SINGLE CHART and MULTIPLE CHARTS in multiple charts layout AS BEFORE.
I have raised ticket also, it was replied that request is sent to concerned team .
2 > Now in the side View of chart in open positions , only one position is shown. All traded MIS and CNC open positions are not shown . Looks like this is a bug.
Request you people to address the above two issues …
Chart Toggling feature will be resolved over weekend, got your point …
In the modified side panel , Please show CNC sell positions also as before. If for some reason, if we want to square off and buy back the sold shares just like intraday MIS short position, we can do it quickly, for example when we want to take advantage of situation of the fall of share price unexpectedly after it was sold and when our medium term view is still bullish and want to take advantage of volatility .
I request you people to keep the side panel positions view just as before, not just open positions… All positions give a clear view of what we made in each trade at what price levels and is important info , just like in Kite mobile app … this is really essential to see all day’s positions at any given point while trading on any chart … via side panel to make quick decisions w.r.t efficiency of P & L risk management of a trade .
There is one more bug on the Trading view Chart , The price displayed on BUY and SELL of instant order buttons are far away from the actual prices displayed on side panel …
Is there any update on showing CNC SELL positions also in Side Panel
Positions are not auto refreshed / updated immediately / even after 10 mins … in side panel too .
request you people to fix these bugs of update of positions in side panel and chart at the earliest …
Just observed that streak zerodha side panel is working good and shows all positions , i thought the side panel you are referring to is same a streak zerodha … but it is not same when streak zerodha side panel is good , why this side panel on kite is not the same … ?
Earlier there was streak logo on the top left corner of the chart in Kite , which when clicked would open the streak zerodha side positions panel with all positions. Now in the new side panel of kite , it shows different and streak logo on the top left corner of the chart in Kite is No longer there , but side positions panel was given with slide button in the middle of the left side of the chart and shows only open positions without CNC SELL
Now that i have given all descriptions reg side positions panels , you can look out for all the differences between these two versions of side positions panels …
Streak Zerodha version of side positions panel is good , shows all positions and useful.
The new version on kite now is of confusion and does not update/ refresh converted positions from MIS to CNC and CNC to MIS , where as streak zerodha side positions panel updates / refreshes these conversions .
I hope i have given all details needed by you , expecting the team to fix these issues.
i have one more bugs which i have been facing on kite web every now and then that the watchlist is creating seperate default groups on its own and splitting randomly even though i have no group formed on that watchlist. Can anyone from team check this bug , i have been facing this from some time now after the new kite web release
Since converted positions are not updated on positions panel or the positions on charts , whenever you want to close the position from chart for a converted position , we have an issue . Below is the example -
say i have an MIS position … on the chart it will show P & L of MIS position … if i try to square off it will take order for MIS square off . so far good.
Now say i convert the MIS to CNC , now the position is not updated to CNC , and when i try to square off the converted CNC on the chart , it will place order for previous MIS position as the P&L position as chart is not updated to CNC and still in MIS only…
same issue will be with positions converted from CNC to MIS …
this kind of issues will cause misleading orders and financial losses when we convert our positions and depend on zerodha’s position side panel and positions on chart to square off , this is really issue for intraday traders where pace and precision is very important.
Appreciate if your team addresses all these issues that i have pointed out in all my messages …
i feel i am doing UAT for you people , of course it will help us also if zerodha fixes them …
Streak is currently using an old URL which will be phased out soon. The CNC sell and position conversion not reflecting will also be addressed shortly.
Even Trade from chart position square off order size is not updated when position is partially executed … This is another feedback on bugs / issue to the Kite Trading view charts Team …
