I have one query regarding changing the stoploss during market hour in case of BO.
If stock’s current price is 100 which was bought in BO and Stoploss is 3 points with Trailing stoploss 1, that means the current price is 100,stoploss is 97.
What happens to the trade if I modify the stoploss to 99.
1). Will the stoploss move only after the current price has crossed 102 or
2). My Stoploss as well as Trailing stoploss both would become 1 point.
Since your trailing stoploss 1 point, therefore when price move up Rs. 101 your SL become 100. Similary price moved up 102 your SL will be 101.
please comment about the Stoploss which was earlier 3 points and Trailing stoploss was 1 point. During the trade I changed stoploss to 99 at share’s current price 100 and trailing stoploss 1 point ,what would be the impact on stoploss? whether it would remain 3 points or become 1 point ?
Your stop loss will immediately move to 99.
