Reits is still not in the approved securities list for pledging.

Investor stocks are repledged to clearing corporations (NCCL & ICCL), and CCs provide margin against those securities. Both CCs have 1500+ approved securities available to be repledged with them. They don’t allow REITs/INVITs to be repledged. You can check the NSE CC list here (haircut files) Some trading members could be allowing margin pledge beyond this list by funding from their own funds. @nithin request if zerodha can take it up. Not allowing pledging of REIT is a dampner to this Asset class. I myself would invest in it if pledging is allowed. I cannot see any reason for not allowing it as its a very stable instrument.

As @Pai mentioned, exchanges don’t allow for pledging as of now.

this colleterial is not given by kotakon own fund , its from NSDL

@amitb @pankushri @TradeB2B I tried pledging InvITs but ICICI doesn’t accept them. They apply a 100% haircut, and when redirected to NSDL, the scrip doesn’t even appear for pledge creation.

@Rohith_Raj because icici quantum of quantity to pledge is FULL - retray after 5 days , other wise other NSDL broker all accepted . i use kotak they accept , and other broker also accepting
