Reliance options post bonus issue

Next Monday (28th Oct ) is the record date for reliance bonus shares. What would happen to its options? I am holding 2700 CE (Oct) , will it also adjust accordingly and become 1350 ce?

Yes, that is how it usually happens on the ex-date. As it is 1:1 bonus for Reliance, the lot size will double from 250 to 500 and the strike price will reduce to half.

just wanted to ask we are holding reliance shares in demat and physical both forms
what will happen to physical stocks
and i am shifting my broker and closing the demat with them and transferring it to another one will i get bonus credit and any corporate action benefit in new DP or i loose the benefit because of closure of account with my old dp

You will get the bonus shares (from old demat) credited to the new demat account. Any further corporate actions will reflect in your new demat account. Best is to have the physical shares dematerialized in the new DEMAT for better tracking of all the shares in a single account.

Bonus for physical shares will be received at the holder’s address in physical form. So, best is to get the shares dematerialized to avoid hassles.
