You can check with ICICI if they can accept a withdrawal request for your application and place a new one. Otherwise, if you make a fresh application with a different DP ID & Client ID, the RTA will consider it normally.
You should get the partly paid shares after the allotment is finalised. The tentative allotment date is June 11th.
Your REs will lapse and you will lose the premium paid to acquire them. You should reach out to the RTA and ensure your application is accepted by June 3rd to avoid this.
Thanks Mohit
So 4 units will be alloted?
Currently i am holding only 12 RIL u its in my Zerodha. And had taken 4 RIL-RE-R
You need to ensure that you’re using the 16-digit ID available here.
The RTA’s portal link where you’ll need to input this is: https://rights.kfintech.com/apply/apply.aspx
If you’re still facing issues, you’ll need to contact the RTA at 1800 425 8998 or 1800 345 4001
The RTA only displays entitlement as per holdings on record date on their portal. You can go ahead and apply for the 200 rights shares. The RTA will just check if your demat account has 200 REs when it considers your application during allotment.
You can select the Shareholder option and apply for all the shares together. The RTA will just show your original entitlement on their portal. However, during allotment they will check how many REs you have in total when they allot shares against your application.
You will receive the shares in T+2 days in your demat account. You will be able to see them on Console in the meantime. You should apply for the rights shares by June 3rd to ensure that your REs don’t remain ununtilised.
You can select the Shareholder option and apply for all the 10 shares. The RTA will just show your original entitlement on their portal which is zero. However, during allotment they will check how many REs you have in total when they allot shares against your application. You can check your RE holdings here.
Thank You Mohit for your quick reply.
ICICI indicated that they cannot modify or withdraw the application. My concern was whether two applications from the same PAN number will be allowed??
The RTA is checking applications demat account/folio-wise and not PAN wise. So, it will be allowed.
Let’s say you held 20 Reliance REs each in 3 separate demat accounts. The RTA would require you to apply thrice through your 3 different accounts even though you’ll use the same PAN.
OK…Thank you once again.
Will apply newly.
Thanks Mohit, I have applied accordingly. Hope everything works out as expected.
I am trying to make payment but due to these following reasons the payment is being denied. Please resolve my problem so that I could make payment to buy 500 shares entitled to me .
I have a joint bank account in Deutsche bank with my wife where I am the secondary holder. I tried to upload the cancelled cheque of the same bank in which my name is also mentioned but it shows 3rd party validation failed.
what happend if i had 109 RE but did’t sell on 29 may EOD and don’t want apply for right issue now …will i get my refund or not?
Thanks for the information Mohit…I am getting confused on this. Can you please tell me how much amount I have to arrange now for paying to rights for 720 shares. So that I can start accumulating money in my bank account
I saw the RIL RE scrips credited in my account holdings last week.
Did not take any action. I am not interested in subscribing to RE. (Did not renounce either).
Today (1st June), those RE scrips have disappeared from account.
Presume there is no further action needed from my end if not interested in the RE.
Hello Mohit,
I have purchased 538 RIL RE shares on 26th May and if I apply rights for 538 shares then on 12th June, can i sell all these shares or I can sell only partial shares? Please advice. Also, when I try to apply the rights through HDFC netbanking then it is asking to enter the DP Name and Beneficiary A/C No. Could you please help me what I have to enter here as I am new to share market.
Hi I have 100 RE but didn’t sell them on 29th may on Zerodha. But its not visible in my account. And I don’t want to apply for rights issue. How can I get my money back…
