I have one more question sorry to bother. After going to this web page i have to click on 6th option ie apply for right issue. And later on there’s a column ‘Total No. of shares applied for’ that’s where i have to enter number of ril re shares i hold? Please guide.
Holdings as on record date its showing 0
No: of shares entitled its showing 0
I had 84 shares on record date and got 5 RE in my dp id . I bought 15 more RE from secondary market on 26 may 2020 and total 20 shares are reflecting on my dp on dt 29/05/2020 and today also. I am trying to apply through RTA website by selecting option 'I am renouncee and hold rights entitlement in valid demat account and undertake to hold RE till issue closing date ie 3 june 2020 ’ but a popup is triggered with 'Not a renouncee select shareholder on record date '. But after selecting shareholder option site is reflecting only 5 RE instead of 20RE .Please advise
You can select the Shareholder option and apply for all the REs. The RTA will just show your original entitlement on their portal which is zero. However, during allotment they will check how many REs you have in total when they allot shares against your application. You can check your RE holdings here.
I have 30 shares of RIL so I got 2 shares for right issue. Then I buy 20 shares @210rs from zerodha demat account and these are not visible in my demat account. If I pay rs 312 per share than did I will get right to sell these shares so that I can get my money back . Please tell me
Hello Mohit,
If I apply for Rights through NETBANKING ASBA. How do I check the status of applications through Application number or PAN number ?
Where do find this status . please share the link to check application…
If you’ve bought REs from the secondary market, you’re buying it from someone who is renouncing his right. The seller would be the renouncer and the buyer would be renouncee.
If you were an eligible investor and had at least 1 RIL share as on the record date, you’ll need to select the share-holder option.
Dear Sir,
i purchased RIL-RE 20 numbers @217 on 29th may now it not showing in my zerodha ac & now if i dont want to purchased the share than how i can sell my rights
@mohitmehra .Brother, thank you for all your time and effort in guiding and assisting others.
I did not receive any mail confirmation about rights purchase. All I have is now the acknowledgement received after the payment. Is that fine? My broker is helping me anyway. All I have is your guidence.
Hai i am buy reliance re share i dont have reliance share i dont sold re share on 25 may i am applying for right issue on 1 June 2020 ok i get right issue or not
You have the acknowledgment and you’ve made payment from your own bank account. This is sufficient. In order to doubly confirm your bid, just call the RTA at 1800 425 8998 / 1800 345 4001
In case you have bought REs but don’t have Reliance shares, you’re still eligible for the rights issue. You may apply for the rights shares either through the RTA’s portal or via netbanking ASBA if your bank allows it.
@mohitmehra. Brother. I called to the number of RTA you provided and gave them my PAN by which they were not able to track anything and then I prcided my client ID and they were able to find only my name and nothing else.
Hi, I have purchased the 5 shares from Reliance Right Issue on 20th May. But today I am not seeing those shares in my demat holdings. What will happen to these share?. If I am not getting this share in my demat account then what about my money which I paid for those 5 shares.
