Hi,
Zerodha already has an official Kite MCP server, but it isn’t available as a connector in the Claude mobile app.
When I asked Claude about it, it mentioned that this would require publishing the MCP through Anthropic’s connector directory. I’ve attached the screenshot for reference.
Is this something Zerodha is planning to support in the future? It would make using Kite with Claude on mobile much more convenient.
We’ll consider this as feedback. Alternatively, Custom connectors can be set up on the web (or desktop) version of Claude first, then they automatically sync to mobile.
Steps:
- On claude.ai (web), go to Settings → Connectors
- Click “Add custom connector”
- Enter the MCP server URL (e.g., for Kite MCP:
https://mcp.kite.trade/mcp) and give it a name
- Complete the OAuth flow to authenticate
- Open the Claude mobile app, the connector will already show up under your connectors/tools menu, ready to use
Once it’s added on web, you don’t need to repeat any setup on mobile — it just appears there automatically since connectors are tied to your account, not the specific client.
