Scan for daily timeframe

if i want to write script to scan nifty stocks on daily time frame, what i understood is----

click on alerts THEN—

click on scanner, then on new scanner

popup window will appear, give the name for script, THEN----

write the script code THEN

UNDER data source which Periodicity, Bar Interval i should chose ? how many days i should enter against Days ?

I Understood that i have to add all the symbols for nifty 50 stocks, but what i could not understood is for periodicity only Minute & Hour option is available, no Day option. Since i want to scan stocks for daily timeframe what information should be entered ?
