Is it possible to pledge SDL bonds?
SDL can not be pledged as they are not approved for pledging, check the below list of approved securities for pledging

I have brought SDL with better interest rate then G sec, thinking SDL can also be pledge for trading.

Now please sell them SDLs at discount on NSE/BSE.
A bunch of us are waiting to buy them at a steep discount. 
On a more serious note,
- Either forget you have them and hold them till maturity, earning interest on them every 6 months,
- or sell them off at a discount as described here
- assuming someone is even willing to buy them on the secondary markets (NSE/BSE).
- in this case even if you book a small loss (5-15%), atleast you have your capital back to trade.

Interest rate is good, better to hold it till maturity.
I am ready to sell for 50k worth SDL at 40k , will you help me selling this ?
