SEBI ends Avadhut Sathe’s dance

SEBI raided Avadhut Sathe’s academy in Karjat on Aug 21, seized devices and trading data, and is probing if he was running unregistered advisory under the name of training.

We all hv seen his style, dancing in front of tickers n all that drama. Big following, courses costing from few thousand to 1 lakh+. Now is it just loud teaching or actually stock tips n penny stock pushing? He says only training, but SEBI obv felt there’s more to investigate.

Lot of these finfluencers popping up now… where’s the line between education n advisory? Curious what ppl here think.

Sounds like Akshat Srivastava may be in line next - selling stocks in the name of educational courses.

No not yet, he is defiant and posted a video of taking class again, probably he has backing of higher ups.
Yesterday in twitter i saw 1 or 2 newly created bots praising his course, he is still dancing and daring.

Liked this one "but SEBI obv felt there’s more to investigate"the most. This news is based on how SEBI felt. This should be so embarrassing for the “EDITOR”…

Very good :+1:
I also get stock buying ad in my Sms app, I always ignore that.
Can anyone tell me who do share my no. To stupid people? Is that network service provider?

I really don’t know, even I wonder about that sometimes.

Your network provider does not share your number. Your number usually leaks from shady brokers, IBs, finfluencer forms, or poor data hygiene.

If a broker has no spine and chases money, they will sell your data, ignore all tip calls, and SMS.
