Has anyone else seen this behaviour on Zerodha when managing secondary bank accounts?
Steps I followed:
Logged in to Console.
Clicked on the Edit option for the existing secondary bank account (without making changes).
Closed that edit tab.
Then went to Add bank account to add a new secondary bank account.
What I noticed: instead of creating a new secondary bank entry, the system overwrote my existing secondary account.
Has anyone else been able to reproduce this sequence? I am trying to confirm whether this is specific to me or a wider user base. Please share your experience. Thx.
Zerodha have been in denial of this “bug” for a few months now with the same retort as the one you used - of low occurrences. This falls under unauthorized corruption and unintended overwriting of investor’s data. Zerodha might not have a choice but to fix under duress and within a definite timeframe under SEBI’s compliance requirements. I have taken this up with the SEBI SCORES system and it is now with the SmartODR dispute resolution system if you might be aware through Zerodha’s compliance team.
