No. Only Resident Individual account holders.

Wondering why console hasn’t been updated to look at secondary demat account holdings. I transferred some shares from primary to secondary account, and now i dont see them anywhere. the only place where i am able to see them is on the page for transferring holdings from one account to another.

It is not even showing up in in the Portfolio > Holdings tab.

Or is this a bug?

Your transfer was initiated yesterday. It takes 48 hours to reflect the holdings on Console. They should start showing up from tomorrow.

Why doesn’t Zerodha test features before launching it?? Always so many buys. Do you expect your customers to perform the testing and reports bugs for free?

Not yet released, only announced here as beta, to take some feedback, before announcing to all we will iron out mentioned points.

Nowhere it says its a beta version. In any case feature should be well tested before making it public…

IMO Every announcement on the forum and not on email parallelly should be assumed beta. I was waiting to see the mail announcement of this but that is yet to come so guess this is beta

• for bonus/ splits - would they come to secondary demat or primary?
• the portfolio performance in console - does that include secondary demat too?

Thanks. Now the shares are showing under secondary holdings filter - but like you I am also having price discrepancy.

Also, bug report:

Once I start a transfer but dont finish the TPIN authorization process, the number of eligible share reduces and the numbers of shares for which the transfer started get stuck (not stuck for sale but for transferring later).

I started these two but did not finish TPIN because I changed my mind about the transfer, so now these are stuck and wont let me do anything about these.

1. Yes, it’ll come to the primary bank linked to your account.
2. It’ll come to the demat account in which the shares are present as on the record date.
3. Yes, this and P&L are being handled as we speak. We’ll have these updated before we announce it.

I started these two but did not finish TPIN because I changed my mind about the transfer, so now these are stuck and wont let me do anything about these.

while this idea of secondary demat a/c maybe useful for others,
given my style or needs, I chose not to go ahead after reading the fine print.

Primarily, not having instant sell and unable to benefit from Longterm holdings that can be pledged.

Largest corpus for a stable a/c would be in Longterm holdings, especially with STCG now at 20%

Ofc, LT holdings can remain in primary a/c for pledge, but now the tracking headache still comes in for which holding is for what purpose.

I see a bug in the transfer of scrips from the primary demat to secondary demat as the BUY dates are not proper and is in a loop till the qty is matching

Note: From the contract note, i downloaded from console it shows that on 2022-12-07, I’ve purchased only 10 shares but as per the screenshot it shows that i purchased 18 shares. Not sure what is the logic behind it but observing the same for all the scrips i transferred to secondary demat.

Transferred 60 shares but the split up of BUY dates are showing that QTY in the breakdown is more than 80

This has not only impacted the shares i transferred but also the shares in the primary demat account showing discrepancy without any corporate action announced.

Really disappointed with the response in the support tickets provided after waiting for a month.

Not sure, how it is made available to everyone without fixing these issues in BETA.
