If DHFL is under ban so can i create new position in next month future or all series can be traded intraday only?

Security under ban prohibits taking a new F&O position in all series - current month, near month and far month.

Here is why: Open Interest is the total number of carried-forward F&O contracts on a given day. The OI is calculated over all the derivative contracts of a particular underlying and is not calculated based on the expiry series. And scrips are banned when the OI exceeds 95% of the market wide position limit.

However you can make positions on the first day of the start of new series.
