Sell Bajaj Auto today

Hi team,

Bajaj Auto shares were debited first and then credited the remaining shares back today at around 13:02 PM. Why are we not able to sell these shares even though they are part of our demat account? I verified this even by going to cdslindia.com and logging into my easi account.

Should we have a mechanism to sync Console holdings with CDSL in between the day incase shares are credited at that time?

Thanks!

This looks like a debit for the buyback order placed and a credit for the unaccepted QTY.

CDSL debits the QTY for which the buyback order is placed, and RTA then determines the acceptance ratio, and based on that, CDSL credits the unaccepted QTY.

Updating back office holdings is an extremely complex process of determining and mapping every credit and debit to specific causes, which is why it is done once a day.
