Sell in batches or in one go?

Hi,

If one has to sell, say a 1000, shares of Indian blue chip stock, how should one do that to maximise the possibility of gain? Should we sell it in batches, say of 250, every day or all 1000 in one go?

What does your experience or strategic wisdom say?

If you’ve already decided to sell there is no point batching it. Just pay transaction charges once instead of 4-5 times.

And 1000 qt is nothing for blue chip companies in terms of their volume. Just place limit order and leave

If you expect price to increase you won’t sell obv, so there is no point waiting more
