I had some stocks in the holding. I sold it today at 15:55:19, one more doubt, does post-market price affect tomorrow’s price?. Is this valid to sell at this time?
How is it possible to sell after market close? Is this a off market transaction?
But it got executed. I received my 80% amount today. To clear this doubt, I raised this thread.
P.S. Avg price: Hidden.
There is something called post market session. 15:40 to 16:00. We can sell or buy at market closing price only. No bidding allowed.

Yes, it is a valid time to sell. Exchange conducts post-market session from 3:40 PM to 4:00 PM, your order got executed in this session. You can learn more on post-market session here.

Yeah, no offense to you, even I read this before starting this thread, but I would like to hear from peoples based on their practical knowledge. These blogs kinda thing look too bookish to me.
Usually not.
Stock might go up or down based on some news. ( Results/good sales no/ insider news).
Results company decalares mainly in market hours or post market. After 4 PM.
Also the finance Minister or RBI confrence either in market hours or Post market.
So post market session will have no impact.
Only condition which might impact share price when there is news between post market session.
