I used to deploy multiple strategies on same index. And I used to adjust or exit from my individual strategy based on PnL for that particular strategy. I was able to do this by setting PnL alerts for specific legs from my posistions that comprised my strategy. Now after removing this feature I have to sit in-front of my laptop the whole day watching PNL and I know that I am deemed to miss it once or twice.
I think this option should not have been removed. And if the team decided to remove it they should have provided an alternative. Conditional exits do not fulfil the simple requirement for alerting for your posistion’s PnL.
Please bring it back asap and remove it only after Kite or Sensibull has an alternative.
If the maintenance was costly, team should have tried to find a way to reduce the maintenance cost by limiting some part of the funtionality and not removing it altogether, like maybe simplifying the alerts - only save the alerts for the day, users could have set the alerts again the following day. Or may be removing the whatsapp alert and keeping to app only. We could have still managed with limited functionality.
Just saying - “very few users actively used it” is an incomplete research. Team should have also thought that how important this feature is for those few users.
Unfortunately, for me it is one of the deciding factors to use sensibull or not.
