SGB Transfer within CDSL: Angel One to Zerodha

I searched but the only articles I normally found were either about inter-depository like CDSL to NSDL or those that mentioned transfer of shares via Easiest etc.

I didn’t find anything specific on how to transfer within CDSL account (Angel to Zerodha).

Can someone please guide me on the process since I want to close the Angel account & have all the SGBs transferred from that to Zerodha?

Since you want to close the account, it’s best to opt for closure cum transfer.

I contacted Angel & sent then a transfer-cum-closure form with Zerodha CMR copy.

Then replied back & asked me to do it myself via easiest.

Shouldn’t they be doing it themselves?

Can you please give me a concrete answer so that I can simply ask them to do it themselves.

Since it’s a closure cum transfer, there is no need for easiest in this case, it’s best to speak with your Angel broker. You can refer 10.6.1
