Share transfer from NSDL to CDSL

I have a older Demat account with other broker and they provide a NSDL demat account in which I have 40 shares of company at very cheap rate and now stocks trades 3times higher then my average

I want it transfer to my new Zerodha demat CDSL account

Most IMP things I’m not sure about

  1. Is it possible to transfer from NSDL to CDSL
  2. if transfer is possible a sell contract note is generated like buyback contract note is generated
  3. at which rate they are comes to Zerodha Demat
  4. which broker I have to contact first
  5. Is there any online way avaible??

I don’t want to spoil my average of shares they I have vert cheap rate

@circuitmamu :1. you can do transfer of shares from nsdl to cdsl or vica versa .
2. you have to use DIS provided by your NSDL dp for transfer of shares to your cdsl dp.
3.it is not possible online but only through DIS in an off market mode.
4.the transfer will be done as per today’s market rate .
5.contract note can not be generated unless you sell at your nsdl dp broker and buy same at your cdsl dp broker.
