If I buy a share at 10rs a week ago .now the share price has not gone above 10rs so if I sell at 10rs and on the same day the price went down to 8rs now my P&L shows 2rs profit.
If i buy it again at 8rs will i get profit of 2rs ? (If yes will it be added in the funds on the same day )
Yes, you will earn profit of Rs. 2. However, this will not be added to your funds on same day. Intraday profit is added to funds once it is settled by the exchanges on T+1 day. Explained in detail here: Why does the Kite fund balance not include profits from today?
