If I sell a security that is not in my Zerodha linked DP and however the same is delivered before end of day via off market transfer will the shares go into short delivery and Auction?
Say I sell Shares Today via my Zerodha Account that are not in my Zerodha Linked DP however before end of day today such shares are delivered into my Zerodha Linked DP via off Market transfer.
Yes, if the off-market transfer is completed before 6:00 PM, shares will be delivered on the same day; there will be no auction.
If credited after 6:00 PM, you need to inform us through the Support Portal, by creating a ticket, or by calling us. We can consider such cases up to 8:30 PM.
If this is not intimated before 8:30 PM, the shares may go into auction.
