How can we go short in a stock on long term meaning like is there anyway I can be shorting a stock for days, months and years? If yes then what is the process? Here I am not referring to shorting stocks on intraday margin basis but in a long term. Is it possible to short stocks for days, months and years in CNC or futures/ options? Please explain clearly the process of shorting stocks on long term.

In Indian markets You can only short stocks in intraday, for holding your shorts you need to trade in Future Market. In future market you can hold your shorts for a maximum of 3 Months.
