  1. Day trading Nifty options and futures. Also, swing trade sectoral and international ETFs. Occasionally, trade commodities such as Oil and Bullion futures.

  2. Usually between 9am to 4pm. If I do have positions in the commodities markets, then I trade during the evenings as well.

  3. Depends on the instrument. I day trade the indices but swing trade stocks and ETFs.

  4. Discretionary.

  5. Looking for low risk opportunities to capitalize on. Still need to work on my overtrading habit. Sometimes, no trade is the best trade - especially in the choppy environment we are in right now.

oh, did not realize that there is no STT for international ETFs and much lower STT for domestic ones (0.001% on the sell side ) vs cash (0.1% on buy & sell). This is even lower than Futures - much more reasonable.

How liquid are these ?

  6. Whether Nifty spot hit the red or green lines. But not often. Orders are preset before these lines are hit based on estimated option prices.

The Nippon ETFs are fairly liquid but make sure you check the iNAVs on the website before trading them. You’re right on the STT front. It is actually cheaper to take delivery of the ETF than to trade it intraday.
