Silver option selling on expiry day

Why does zerodha doesn’t allow option selling on silver expiry day.

Since trading on underlying future is allowed what can be the risk associated.I

TM Option will at worse devolve into futures which anyway is being allowed to trade.

Please allow the same.

We have already thought of implementing this. From this month we are planning to allowing clients to take fresh short positions on expiry day.

Hi,

Yes for all MCX options on expiry day we allow fresh shorting from this month.

It is not allowed for silver. Was trying to sell just now. Please check
