As per zerodha there are more than two lakh traders.
Let us assume only five percent are daily traders. That is about ten thousand traders.
Out of these ten thousand traders if we assume only one percent are making consistent profits still there should be at least hundred stars.
Why very less number of stars ?

Stars are enrolled into opentrade only by consent.
Considering that Day Trading is a “dog eat dog” game.
A majority of the profitable traders might not want to let others know what they are up to.
There should be equal amount of losers for the winners to remain winners.
Else it will create liquidity issues.
