Have you got any solution from zerodha?
We informed our vendor on this, they said will try to add in their next update.
They said they will try to add in their next version, if it is in-house we could have done something from our end.
how long will it take to add “rsi stochastic” indicator ?
@Aditya_Bhat, We have not specifically verified with the charts you named, but as we are using a standardised formula it must match. You can run backtest and then verify the transaction table matching with the chart you see.
If you find any mismatch, kindly write to support[@]streak.tech with screenshot of both algo transactions table and chart.
Is there any update on this ? Even the next version of kite has also come but till now this indicator is not added. Atleast could you please tell us the reason why is it taking so long to add an simple indicator.
Currently kite charts use chartiq as vendor for charts, they don’t provide this as inbuilt hence we can’t, anyhow we will be adding tradingview soon to current set up, TV has this indicator.
tradingview is the best platform…glad to know @siva you are adding it to Kite !! but is this going to take a year or in near future.
We are already testing it, in next few weeks this should be done.
Does that mean we will also be getting charting experience like trading view in zerodha?
Totally agree with the answers, this indicator should be included!
yes thats what they are saying…@siva - please do try to implement ASAP as we have issues with current charts. Also, why do you have to test it so much…tradingview is the most popular & time tested solution.
We need to integrate with our existing solution and we will be offering both chartiq and trading view hence lot of testing is involved in saving templates, indicators etc as we should save both at a time.
When are we going to see this indicator in Kite?
It’s available on kite on Trading view chart option.
Hi @siva any plans to add Stochastic RSI in ChartIQ itself? I know it’s available in TradingView but would be nice to have it in ChartIQ also.
Yes, will be available in next update, two weeks.
In ChartIQ you need to change the Field of Stochastics to RSI.
Plot RSI or RSI Divergence to your Pane.
Next plot Stochastics to your pane and click settings of Stochastics and change the field to RSI or RSI Divergence.
I hope this helps!
