Just wondered why hasn’t zerodha provided the facility to do stock SIP in their Kite platform? Or am i missing one of their many apps in which you can do it?
Could be really helpful for a monthly SIP in a particular share!
Sharekhan, ICICI direct does allow you to do so. Just saying.
Once you delete the same, the amount won’t be debited from your bank account. You can recreate it later when you want the SIP to be processed again. We are working on a new mandates module on Console; we will have a pause feature for the debit instruction once it’s live.
The stock SIP feature is available on Kite. You can set up an SIP for a single stock, for ETFs, or any other instrument. Follow these steps:
Kite app
Tap on Orders.
Tap on SIPs.
Tap on New SIP.
Enter SIP name.
Link an existing basket of orders or create a new basket by clicking on New basket. To learn more about basket orders, see How to place basket orders on Kite?
Select the basket and then set the preferred scheduled date and time.
Swipe on Create.
You can create an e-mandate to automatically add funds for the stock SIP - Here is how.

We are working on the UPI Autopay feature to support this on Console; once that is live, we will be able to debit the amount from the dynamic price of the share as per the condition, but only after 24 hours, as a notifier is mandatory in UPI Autopay to debit the amount from your bank account. There is no concrete timeline for the same as of now.
Hi @hiren_parekh, no, as of now, you cannot, It is difficult to comprise the purchase of the stock based on the amount; if Indian markets had fractional quantity, then it would have been easy, but it’s difficult to offer a stock SIP based on the amount. We will still look into the possibility of this being implemented later in the future.
