If I bought shares of many large cap companies and if I also want to invest in mutual funds, so should I still buy a fund of large cap companies. Since most of the companies of the mutual funds as well as the stocks will be the same so the portfolio will not be diversified. If the price of the large cap companies goes down, like during the time of corona virus, both the equity and mutual fund will go down.
So, should I buy a different kind of mutual fund like mid-cap or debt fund?
