When we make a stoploss order, where does the order stay till it triggered? Is it sent to exchange immediately or it stays in zerodha platform till it is triggered?
When you place Stoploss orders, these are immediately sent to the exchange. At exchange, these sit in a passive order book. Once this order is triggered, it is moved to the regular order book.
