I am new to Mutual Funds, I would like to know ,how to select best mutual funds available at this time and also which are factors to be considered while selecting the mutual funds. pls suggest links for reading the fundamentals about MF.

you can login to mf.zerodha.com and can check the analytics of the various mutual funds and you can also compare and study various funds by using compare option.
According to me strategy to select mutual funds is very simple, select best performing mutual fund based on the growth and other statical analysis, Invest in SIP and hold for long term profits.
