20200824903516 – ORBIS ESIGN

Had discussed with agent on that day only, still your support agent closed the ticket.
Anyway, as per your suggestion, I have reopened the ticket.
Original ticket was opened on 29-Aug, so 5 days and counting.

Not able to establish NIFTY 10800 PE - NIFTY 10700 PE credit spread today in-spite of putting the order of Sell side first and then buy side…sell order getting executed by buy order getting blocked for strike restriction…

Can you DM your client id so that we can check.

Sent…please check

Already your portfolio has 25 lots short option in bank nifty and 21 lots long option in bank nifty. Further, you can add only up to 4 lots of Banknifty long without range restriction.
If you try to buy Nifty option outside allowed range it wouldn’t have allowed or if you try to purchase more than 4 lots of Banknifty outside the range also it wouldn’t have allowed.

I was trying to establish credit spread in nifty monthly expiry…so it has both buy and sell side…and it was not even allowing for one lot of credit spread… and also please explain what it has to do with my Bank Nifty position @siva-reddy @Ragavendran_M @nithin

Thought you are asking for a Banknifty position so only I have replied like that. You can ignore that previous reply.

If you have a short position of Nifty in your account, then only you can buy one lot of Nifty outside the allowed range. We can see as of now you don’t have any option short position in Nifty.
You can try it on Monday and if you still face the issue you can report.

I was executing the NIFTY SEP 10800 PE short position first and then NIFTY SEP 10700 PE long position…the short position was getting executed but the long position was getting blocked …I squared off my NIFTY SEP 10800 PE Short position because NIFTY SEP 10700 PE long position was not getting executed…so obviously there will be no Nifty short position now… same thing i experienced yesterday also … @Ragavendran_M @siva-reddy @ni

As we have explained through call hope your query was resolved.

Ok…as discussed… i will try it on Monday… if any issue i will update you…thanks ! @siva-reddy @Ragavendran_M @ni

Hi, Could you please DM your Client ID so that I can look into this at the earliest?

Ticket: #20200828677656 (Migration To Orbis)
Client ID is DM’d to you separately

Siva sir, I have done the esign and today applied for withdrawal all funds, please make sure my Orbis transfer is done by friday because I need sat sun for fund transfer due to transfer limit set by bank. Please sir do this urgent basis.

Hi Team,

Reading from above posts, Zerodha will let us buy far OTM strikes if we have written other strike first i.e. we can implement strategies provided we SELL first. ( In my experience, I was still not able to BUY even after my SELL position was executed but maybe there are some changes in platform)

What will happen if I want to roll over my BUY position for next week, system allowed me to buy 25000CE and 21000PE for 10th SEP and now on 10th I want to buy same strikes for 17th SEP. I have active SELL strikes. Will it let us buy ?

You will have to first square-off 10 SEP 25000 CE and 21000 PE, after that you can initiate fresh position in 17 SEP 25000 CE and 21000 PE.

Will it let me do that? Because I have experienced that system throws an error of “outside range”

If you have taken short position the system will let you take long position outside allowed range to the extent of quantity you have shorted, not more than that.

Please team look into my Orbis transfer for client id RA9304. Please need to get it done by friday.

Can you create ticket and message me ticket number.
