Submit Form 15G by Oct 30 for Vedanta Dividend payout

I have filled the Form 15G but the URL in the Vedanta email does not give option to upload the PDF to the KFintech Portal, please share the right link to upload it.

Abstract from that email:

The documents have to be uploaded on the portal https://ris.kfintech.com/form15 of the RTA on or before October 31, 2020. Alternatively, physical documents may be sent to RTA at the following address:

Best if you could get in touch with KFin Tech, they should be able to resolve your query.

who has to upload form 15g , is it for exempting tds to be deducted from dividend or something else?

It is the shareholder who has to upload Form 15G, if you go to the above link, this is the information they have provided.

However, no tax or reduced tax shall be deducted on the Dividend payable by the company in cases the shareholder provides Form 15G (applicable to any Resident Individual other than a Company or a Firm) / Form 15H (applicable to an Resident Individuals above the age of 60 years)

Hi Shubh,

Should the shareholder submit one form 15G to each company or one general completed form with the RTA which the companies can use to waiver the DDT?

@Quicko can you.

I think you are suppose to submit separate form for each ISIN as you are required of mention it in the form (Identification no of relevant investment/account ETC ) and section under which tax is deductible . . … Section 194 covers TDS on dividend paid to a resident person.

Hey,

Combined Form 15G can be submitted to the Company to deduct TDS on dividends at a lower rate or nil rate. Separate Form 15G should not be submitted with each company. You can either download the format of Form 15G, fill it and submit it to the deductor or go to the website of the deductor and file Form 15G online.
