Suggestions to buy new system for trading - Intel Core vs Pentium/AMD

Budget is tight around 20k and Lenovo/Asus with Pentium quadcore T3700 are available at that price. i3 options from Dell etc are 30k+ Will a Pentium Quad core + 4GB RAM be able to run Pi smoothly along with net browsers?

Please make sure you choose a 15.6" Screen and an extended keyboard to make life easier.

If you want to buy a computer for Pi drop that idea and go for 6k cheap tablet and use Kite.

Yr system requirement depends on

  1. yr trading style. For example if u r comfortable seeing charts U need two monitor. Some do very well with only laptop and 3G connection

  2. Your internet connection speed. If i want to have an i7 quadcore then broadband speed of min 16 mbps is appropriate.

  3. For 20k best option wud be a tab with min 4 gb ram, 2 mhz + chip and excellent screen resolution
