Suppose I buy a stock on CNC (delivery). If i put a stop loss order and it gets hit on T day or T+1 or T+2, What will be the consequences and Should I not place stop loss until T+3 day?

Suppose I buy a stock on CNC (delivery). If i put a stop loss order and it gets hit on T day or T+1(stoploss order placed on T+1 day) or T+2 (stoploss order placed on T+2 day). What will be the consequences? Should I not place stop loss until T+3 day?

The stop loss order placed on any day is not carry forwarded automatically for next trading day. If it is not executed on the same day it will be canceled by exchange post trading hours.
