Can somebody please explain me how SWP in Mutual Funds works. My father recently retired, and instead of fixed deposit i suggested for mutual fund. But he want monthly withdrawal similar to fixed deposit. So please explain the process.

SWP allows you to systematically withdraw a fixed or variable portion of your mutual fund units over a repeating interval of time.
