Can I do the filing in third week of July or is there any drawback in delaying things?
Also, if I just do a quick filing now ( based on approx figures ) and edit the form in a few weeks, is that allowed ?

The due date to file the ITR for AY 24-25 is 31st July 2024. You can file your ITR anytime before the due date.
Moreover, if the original return is filed before the due date, you can revise your ITR anytime before 31st December 2024.
