Does STCG is applied on gold coin ?

STCG (or LTCG) is applied when you sell. When you make jewellery, do you sell the coins? Won’t we lose more with GST alone when we sell on such short term?!
Why are you asking same question ?
Do we get credit not against that gold weight ? Or does it consider sell ? As per IT department.
