The reason why you shouldn’t depend on a single DP as an investor. As a trader, there is no alternative. I don’t know how many lost how much. Sad situation.
Could you please elaborate on this. What is the risk for an investor. You buy and hold or sell at pre determined price. If system goes for a toss for a day or so it is fine. Maybe I am missing out on something.
I haven’t used the word “risk”, as there is no risk involved.
An investor might miss an opportunity to buy (or sell to some extend). On buying… I follow a handful of companies where I invest regularly too. If a company X is available at 5% discount on a particular day, I might buy more shares than what I usually invest. If the price bounces back, I’d have missed the opportunity to buy on the previous day when a DP couldn’t execute (or get) my orders for some reason.
I thought this day would never come!
