Time frame - the seconds bar

Thanks! But where’s the happiness lies? Literally in losses :anchor::anchor:

Hey @Lalit_Kishor what’s your story bro? Seeing you here recently.

Is it? Is it why you changed the DP? Happy b’day.

There lies an order in randomness if one can believe that. The order that exists and vanishes with age.

I see all of this as a reflection in the mirror.

I trade in seconds, nano seconds bro. Shoot me if you need anything. Profitable? I can say 51downside 49upside. More or less it’s a good place to be fucked every moment for 6 hours!

Yeah was 26, but it’s not exactly like I have been trading since 15

Wrote about this in another post. Back in 2011, I when I was 15, just 10th board exams got over and had 2 months holiday. Two of my neighbourhood uncles were snr manager crazy traders that made 1 cr back at that time and they told me & my mom “just try stock trading , maybe you can learn something” and told me integrated broker gave a nice offer of joining 4k bonus where if you pay 4k once free annual maintenance for life. I still have that demat till this day. So my mom gave 8k . I opened my demat account, opened a offline dealing desk account where to place trades you need to go their office or call to a number and a certain agent would place orders. Their agent said they can help me choose stock. First day I went in

Thats basically what I thought .

But my first trade was profitable with icici bank which I bought a week after I signed up and sold it after a week I bought. For the second trade , modi at that time was about to be elected. Bank stocks were crazy as hell as I remember and just then PNB stock came to 200 from 1000 and I bought it thinking I will make a great profit, and guess what never exited till this day. I was in a dilemma whether to exit or not because the price didn’t go above 200. I waited for quite weeks. But till then 11th class was about to begin and we had to make decisions back then isn’t it whether to take science or commerce , career blah blah . Basically my mom said just leave that trading for now, focus on school & academics.

Funny thing was around teenage there is always fun but majorly drama & BS. Never bothered about trading or anything. Got some great pals in school to hang out with , stupid fights. Then after school 12th came engg college more drama , more fun and being stupid too, includes even getting drunk. So from 2012 to 2016 no trading at all. Never even bothered to look at that side. Around end of 2016 if I remember correctly while I was drinking with my rich friend who was giving me free beer, we were blabberring and at that time we were talking about making money and he was saying he knew a dude who started to trade crude oil barrel with 10k made it into lakhs and now into crore.

So we went and met him , ironically turned into drinking party and he was saying us how easy to trade crude oil and make lakhs. Later I came to know he was saying about crude oil mini in MCX . Even @celina mentioned it in other post how it was the most popular profitable thing to trade. this was there in my head but it wasn’t untill 2019 after 1.5 years into my job that I started take trading & investing seriously and started learning again from scratch . That’s kinda my story so far.

But on a personal note guys, I have a horrible guilt of wasting my time away fooling around way too much.

I was to know somethings about you all @Celina @anon99108009 @lalit_Kishor

  1. Your age
  2. How you came into stock market
  3. Are you student or working ?
  4. How your teenage school/ college life was ? Did you guys fool around like me ?

this is the only post which managed to hook me up till the end

thanks for being so honest.

Fooling around is a part of one’s youth, not that all do that, some don’t but it is a part, a part when looked back brings only joy, and one can always cherish those times, those memories.

Fooling around, lacking seriousness when you are not the youngest anymore is what gets ones into trouble, or does not bring what should be brought to the table.

it’s just what i heard in my school, peers, family main credit goes to my elder brother since he is directly involved with lesser-dumb side of market

left education after 11th grade. It was hard to convince parents but eventually they agreed

I don’t know if spending 12 hrs a day is classified as serious work…as i f’kin love the market

ps. I had a social life too & to anyone in school or college I just don’t support dropping out as my financial situation can vastly differ from yours
