Hey fellow traders, is there a private bank account which allows online ASBA facility or UPI for IPO applications in HUF name?
Online ASBA is preferred.
Spoke with AU bank yesterday and they told they are the fewest banks providing online asba for huf bank accounts. Do check with them

One thing to have caution though. HDFC also provide online ASBA for HUF accounts but shows karta’s PAN (and not HUF PAN) so in reality, one cannot use that account to apply for ipo applications online.
I also read on one forum that ICICI bank provides online ASBA for HUF and shows HUF PAN too. Got it confirmed from their twitter support as well.
Kotak & RBL bank supports ASBA for HUF account. but I am facing issues to move my funds out of Kotak bank via online mode.

Thanks. I am told BOI, HDFC and Equitas Small Finance Bank provide online ASBA for HUF savings accounts.
I will be talking to HDFC & Equitas tomorrow. Will post an update as soon as I can.

I went with Equitas Small Finance bank as I already had an individual savings account with them.

Great! Do they allow applying for IPO from their mobile app or need to go through the Netbanking?
Also, do they allow saving demat details, or need to fill it everytime like HDFC?
Only once you have to submit a form in the branch with your demat details. After they add those, it will appear in mobile app & netbanking and you can apply to any IPO.
One only needs to enter the quantity & check the cut-off price checkbox, rest everything is filled.
For some reason, I had to do this from Karta’s login, not the HUF login.

Also, can you use the UPI facility for ASBA on HUF PAN ?
Do we need to open HUF bank account as well as HUF demat account separately ?
Where you will put money if you don’t have a bank account?
