Trading by looking at volume count of no of buy orders and no of sell orders

I just want to know the count if any stock buy volume is increased significant when compared to sell volume , I just need an alert of that particular stock which is going up trend. Is that correct ? I assume if more buyers in market in more numbers compared to sell voulme is very very less, the stock will move towards to uptrend (I see this behaviour many times in market)

Can the get an alert of volume count by using code? Or let me know if am toally going wrong ?

Volume is the same number of BUY and SELL happening when there is a consensus reached by the market participants on the on the price. I am not sure you can separate out BUY volumes and SELL volumes like you mentioned. But yes, price movement with corresponding substantial volumes is an indication.
This is accounted in “on balance volume” “accumulation/distribution” indicators.
