Transfer from one mutual fund to another

Hi

I have lump sum amount which I want to invest slowly, I want to buy liquid fund with the lump sum, and then slowly SWP from liquid and SIP into and equity fund.

Can I do that? Will the funds from SWP used to fund SIP or SIP/SWP happen thru bank only?

SWP will withdraw the amount and gets credited to bank account

STP (Systematic Transfer Plan )is the one you should be looking for
