i have to close my groww account due to some reason. so i have opened a zerodha acc and transfered holdings via cdsl easiest. i have a holding of raymond realty with inactive isin from raymond stock split. since isin is not active it can’t be transferred as per How to transfer shares from other brokers to Zerodha?
Anyone have idea what will happen to these after i close my groww account.
You may submit a closure-cum-transfer request to Groww. As you mentioned, the current status of this ISIN is ‘Inactive’, so it will remain in your Groww Demat account for the time being. Once the ISIN is activated, Groww will reprocess your request and transfer the security to your Zerodha Demat account. Until then, the ISIN will continue to be held in your Groww Demat account.
