Is there any in-depth guide on how to transfer shares from NSDL to CDSL
I tried checking our Speede and IDeAS, but many fields are causing trouble…
Physical DIS is an option however can such a process be done online?

1 … if you are closing demat account with one dp and shift to another dp , you need to visit the existing DP with a closer cum transfer request form . it will be at zero cost .
2. …if you want to retain both the demat accounts but transfer some or all securities from existing DP to other you need to use physical DIS …charges in % apply for doing such off market transaction. if you hold high value shares it will be very expensive otherwise too it will not be cheaper per isin .
