I have an ESOS which had an option price of Rs 28 / share. The market value while exercising the option was around Rs. 50. While exercising the option, my company deducted tds at 30.9% on the notional gain i.e. 30.9% of (50-28) . In Zerodha the shares have been credited but dont reflect any price. Now I have to update the price manually. Which is the correct price to be updated in this case. Is it the Rs.28 that I bought it for or Rs 50 (approx) that was the fair mkt value for which I have paid tds for?
