My bank told me it will be automatically unblocked by 3 aug that is end of mandate date

I have applied for two ipo both money has been successfuly blocked by bank but at Nse one ipo upi status is pending and at gpay both ipo is pending will my ipo be consider for allotment

Sir I have accepted the mandate of nykaa ipo sent on bhim upi bt the status of that ipo is still not updated even after 2 days. My amount is blocked. The application is seen active in bhim upi ipo section. Bt status of that application is not updated on the zerodha app. What is this means?

I am facing the same issue. Got application number from Zerodha, Amt blocked successfully on UPI app but no update on Zerodha regading Nykaa.
Have applied for several IPOs from Zerodha but first time something like this has happened.

In case the mandate is accepted and funds blocked but status is not updated on Console: Console displays the UPI status last received from the exchange. This status is likely to get updated as the banks reconcile their records with the exchange. The exchange will share their file with the RTA at the end of the issue and the RTA will check if the amounts are blocked using the bank’s file to do the final reconciliation before allotment.

If the mandate is accepted, funds are blocked and its application number matches with Console, consider your application successful.

@ShubhS9 the issue is different . The console doesn’t show any thing about my Nykaa application. The UI looks like is as if I haven’t even applied for Nykaa ipo at all.

Could you please create a ticket at support.zerodha.com? Team will have this checked and assist.

@ShubhS9 Already done that and got a template response and zero help. Sorry to say this but customer support assumes that customer know nothing. Twice, I tried pointing out with a screenshot but they are not even willing to understand what I am trying to say. FYI… I have applied for 25+ IPOs via Zerodha so I know what I am talking about. This problem has surfaced since last two IPOs only.

Hi ,i applied for Doms ipo yesterday and received the mandate yesterday. Then i accepted the mandate today in the afternoon. The funds were blocked in my bank account successfully but its still showing in zerodha " Authorization request send , Please approve the mandate on your Upi app to complete your application" after few hours of accepting the mandate.

The UPI mandate status is shown as received from the exchange. However, if the mandate is accepted, funds are blocked and the application number matches that on Kite, you can consider the application successful.

First of all thanks for clarifying.
Anyways i applied once only in Zerodha in the Doms ipo and got the mandate after some time yesterday on Paytm. As for the application number its not mentioned anywhere in the Paytm mandate as per the screenshot i attached earlier.
Kindly let me know if there is a way to check the application id in paytm to confirm with the application id as shown in zerodha .

Hi Rakesh,

This is a technical error that your bank faced. It looks like you did not receive an allotment in the IPO you applied for and your mandate is being revoke. Although the revocation failed, you don’t have to worry. The bank will reattempt this for all the customers where it failed. Subsequently, if it hasnt been already, your blocked money will be released.

There are no actionables from your end.
