In the following screenshot from Kite, we can see volume happening at 9:40 am in Clean Science IPO. But the IPO itself is listed at 10 am. Then who trades at 9:40am ?
I believe you can see some volume during this period due to the pre-opening session on a listing day

The trading is also done during the pre opening session. So probably it depicts that in the screenshot.
Trading done in pre-opening session is mainly to determine the equilibrium price / opening price.

But why then no pre market volume is seen in GR Infra (refer above screenshot), which also got listed on the same day as Clean Science IPO ?
It may be an error, because in the trading view chart there is a volume bar at 9:40 in GR infra…
